A cup of colour

Add some colour to the black and white world.

My first thought when I saw the photo was that I thought it would look nice if you painted the flowers in color and painted the rest black and white. So before I had time to come up with some other crazy idea that I got stuck to I started to draw it.
It was my first try in using this grid thing, and I kinda like it. It was a lot easier to get the right proportions and I'm sure I'm gonna use it again.

And well what looks like orange here is kinda yellow in reality, and the stuff that looks red is in real orange. My scanner is a bit weird.

The piece is 19x19 cm and done with mechanical pencil 0,5 (HB), pencils 2H, HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B, erasers, cotton pad for some blending and some of these cheep color pencils.
